I have missed S,T,U and V of round eight of my favourite blog so instead of my previous format this time I am just going to list my own personal favourite films.
S
Saving Private Ryan
This is a 1998 film set on the beaches of Normandy,France depicting the Omaha beach invasion 6th June 1944 .
A few years I went to beach with family and we then watched the film it made it all so much more real.
T
Ok if you are a regular reader you will know that I have had the dilemma on a weekly basis of films that have
THE

So this letter is any number of films .
The sound of music being my favourite.
U
Not much choice here so gone for Uncle Buck way back in 1989 Just a good wholesome comedy.
V

Voyage to the bottom of the sea.
I seem to have a vague recollection of watching.
W

Watership Down! I'd totally forgotten about that -- now I'll have to find the movie and read the book again!
Great choice of movies!
And great to *see* you again!
Wallace and Grommit is a favorite of mine. Have you ever seen the TV show, Shaun the Sheep? If you like W&G, you'll like Shaun...
I would choose Wall-E for my W movie pick. LOVED it.
I remember the book Watership Down, which I really enjoyed! {:-Deb
